The successful candidate will be an experienced leader with proven success as a Sous Chef.

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A hands on approach to coaching and training team members.
  • Experience supervising a highly skilled team.
  • A desire to learn more about end-to-end operations and the successful running of the back of house team.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • The passion to implement appropriate initiatives to improve sales, enhance guest experience and coach team members to support the accomplishment of their career and personal goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in a fine dining or luxury hotel environment.
  • A keen interest in growing food trends, techniques and the ability to contribute to menu planning.
  • Resilient and able to perform in high-pressure service periods.
  • Strong work ethic and a “can do” attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full-time availability. Willing and able to work rotating roster that includes weekends and public holidays.
